Our competitive teams have an amazing team behind it, supporting us in many ways. They remind us we’re part of a larger community. We can work at our best thanks to our sponsors, volunteer coaches, and our alumni who illuminated the way.
Opportunities: One of the ongoing efforts of our coaches and parents is to connect team members with opportunities in our local community as well as around the globe. This includes internships, artisans, scientists, mentors.
The Summer Science Expedition is one such opportunity. This 10-day program for 14-18 year olds in Costa Rica is a joint program with scientists from SeedsforEducation at the University of Wisconsin at Madison’s Curry Lab and the biochemistry department at the University of Costa Rica.
